Huawei Sa and HUAWEI cornubias Poor service delivery

Purchased a huawei Gt4 which claims water proof ability in pools and shallow waters along the coast(sea).the watch dies whilst swimming after just under a year (still under warranty).after so much back and forth from huawei cornubia,they eventually "repaired" it,claiming it was "water damage" but I'm advised not to use it for swimming anymore. HUAWEIs official website claims this watch is waterproof but the consultant says it deteriorates over time ...what a load of bull ****.They refused to replace the device so im stuck with 2 years to pay on contract for a device i cannot swim with (oh.and the device has a swimming function on it as well)
