Huawei P8 Lite Handset

In early 2017(around February), we renewed our CEO's cell phone contract with Vodacom and selected a Huawei P8 Lite handset. The handset initially connected to the bluetooth in her vehicle, but intermittently it would decide not to connect any longer. We complained to the supplier, who asked us to come into their offices to check the bluetooth connection, which we have done twice, once around June and once in October. The phone works and then doesn't work. We were then informed that Huawei has been aware of the issue since June and that it is not just the bluetooth connections to cars, but also headsets and watches and they are trying to sort it out. Since October, we have tried to get hold of someone at Huawei to assist, and a technician from Huawei came to our offices last week Wednesday and said that it is most likely a software issue and that he would get back to us. We are coming onto a week now and have had no response regarding this software issue. Our CEO is on the road quite frequently and is always on the phone with lawyers and our inspectors and her life is at risk because Huawei has not deemed it necessary to fix a problem they have known about since June. Never mind that our other phones are also Huawei P8 lites and also do not connect to the vehicles and our inspectors are on 24 hour call and their lives are also at risk by not having a handset that works on the bluetooth in their vehicles. As a non-profit organisation, The National Council of SPCAs, simply cannot afford to buy new handsets out of pocket and our staff and our CEO are too valuable for us to simply leave this and considering that despite emailing Huawei daily since Wednesday, we have had no resolution and our lives are at stake here.
