Huawei Honor 10 Lite have faulty screens

My twin girls and I chose the Huawei Honor 10 Lite at he Vodacom store in April 2019 because we were sold the excellent features and quality of the cameras on the device. This has turned into nothing short of a nightmare.... both my girls have had to have their screens and phones replaced via insurance due to a short drop, with a cover and screen protector on them... one occassion it fell out of their pocket onto the grass and it chipped and slowly got worse... the strangest part is, in my 42 years of existence I've had nearly all makes and models of devices an NEVER have i experienced this... i'm appalled that a screen can crack so easily and each time we've claimed from insurance... it's cost more, the premium has increased AND then the excess increases. My device fell onto a carpet from a very short distance and BOOM, it chipped and the crack has now grown substantially, all with a cover and screen protector... i'm not sure why these phone screens are so faulty... I will be honest and will never purchase Huawei or HONOR again. My daughters phone fell off the bed onto her bedroom carpet and it smashed, literally.... and now she cannot use it at all!!! NOT a fan and wouldn't recommend these phones at all.
