Huawei hide warranty and expect people to break lockdown rules.

Huawei apparently provide free screen repairs for certain high end devices. They do not inform you of this (Probably hoping most people will not know and cannot make use if this).

I have a P30 Pro which comes with this free screen replacement and has an expiration date which is June 30 2020. Most of the world has been in lockdown and South Africa has been in lockdown for the past 4 months + where travel has been restricted to only essentials like obtaining food, medical and recently for working however people need permits.

I have contacted Huawei to find out if this free screen replacement can still be used as it was out of my control to bring in the phone sooner however they apparently will not. This is unacceptable and exceptions should be made in this circumstances, from the website you can see that the replacement has not been used so can it not be used now that the lockdown restrictions have been amended?
