Huawei free gifts or is it just a sales gimmick?

I took out a contract with MTN for a new Huawei device. At the time there was a promotion running where one would also get a free wireless charger and a smart watch. This was obviously a great selling point as the gifts were valued over R2500. A huawei representative was in store and assured me that she would send through my details for the delivery of the items. It is now over 4 months and I have received nothing. There's is also no way of getting any feedback directly from Huawei sa. Credit to the lady who assisted me in store as she has shown she sent through the details and also followed up, however her management don't really care for customer service. Don't fall for these tricks. Or maybe try and lodge your own claim for any free gifts.
