Huawei ****ed up service

I bought a new Huawei p40 lite with and registered the 100 day cover "as per sms and in-store advise". I registered a claim 2 days before the cover expired I still have not received the communication or any feedback from Huawei or the insurer which I am really disappointed in because of service after consistently buying there products
