Huawei Deliberately Deem Devices Out Of Warranty

Huawei Technologies do not live up to their Warranty Polices. They deem devices out of warranty as they wish, without being ethical or realistic about it

I bought a Huawei Mate 20 Lite device on the 23rd of December 2018. On the 20th of February I realised the phone was bent!

Went through a whole unnecessary canal to get the Device to Huawei... I included more documentation that was needed, even included the previous assessment report from Telkom. After Telkom told me they would now fix my device, I phoned Huawei and they told me they would assess it, and most probably replace the device.

Then they deemed the device out of warranty which is complete *******. On the assessment their was photos, you could see how bent it was, and they would not fix my phone due to Physical Damage I told them, after phoning hundreds of times, being referred from one end to another, that I had never mishandled this device this, makes no logical sense at all.

I just wanted to speak to a technician who could explain how and why they made the conclusion that it was a physical damaged device... My calls got cut, I was told technicians may not speak to customers... I wonder why??? Must I just accept, without discussion, that my I bent my phone magically???

How badly are your devices manufactured?

Why would I bent my phone and go through two assessments, paying the fees, doing all the effort when I bent the phone??? Do note that phone was my most priced possession. No marks, cracks or dents... Huawei must have sold me a dud phone . As I mentioned before the fault on my phone is not isolated. So they are using this as an excuse not to fix my phone. They have not only lost me as an Huawei customer, but I tell my story to everyone I can.

Huawei's service is past pathetic
