Hauwei Service Centre in Melrose Arch sucks. Useless.

Haawei Agents at Melrose Arch were pathetic and absolutely useless.

I was referred to them to deal with the following issues: 1) I needed a new WI-Fi modem battery to replace the one that exploded and caught fire. Could not find a battery anywhere from the cell phone service providers or from local repair shops. I was told the only people that could help me were the Hauwei agents at Melrose Arch, Johannesburg. What a waste of time. They do not sell replacement batteries, I asked if I could buy a new Wi-Fi modem? Yes but they have no stock. 2) I needed a new screen protector for my cell phone, a P20 Pro. No stock. 3) I needed a vehicle cigarette lighter charger for the cell phone. No stock. 4) A USB to cell phone cable. No stock.

I was told that the agents for Hauwei in Melrose Arch would replace my cell phone screen while I waited. Forget it. Cell phone must be booked in, takes two to seven days to repair.

Hauwei after sales :""service" at Melrose Arch sucks. Useless.

A friend referred me to China Mall at Crown Mines where, within seven minutes, I had a new battery for my WI-Fi modem, a replacement screen protector, fitted, a classy leather billfold cell phone case, a car charger adapter with a cable, two extra USB cables and a spare screen protector. Total cost - R610-00.
