False advertising, no stock, poor service

False advertising from Huawei. Huawei has a promotion called the annual servicing campaign. Cheaper repair prices. But you cannot get the joy out of it. I drove quite a distance to the Huawei Service Centre in Cornubia to have my mums P20 lite screen repaired, promotion price R379.00 including a back cover replacement. I get there only to find out that the store has never received stock for the phone for the promotion since start and they not even sure when they will receive stock. I asked them to reserve the price for me. They cannot do that as it 'while stocks last', which is wrong because they never even had stock in the first place. I understand as consumers, we can make use of the 'raincheck' option which I feel Huawei should honor as they did not stock the store so why should it become my problem. The consultants at the store not helpful at all, like they didn't want to help you. I left my details which they made me write on a small piece of paper which they already discarded. Huawei, honor your consumers, false advertising is poor service from such a brand. I have made contact with Huawei through channels and they keep saying 'while stocks last' but that's a lie because there was never any stock for people to make use of the promotion. A very unhappy Huawei customer. Huawei should offer me the promotion price when such stock becomes available as they couldn't during the promotion since they did not stock their store.
