Don't buy a Huawei Matebook

I purchased a Huawei Matebook D14 i5 from Cell C. After a few months the screen got damaged from opening it as it is meant to be opened. I went to their Melrose Arch repair centre. They weren't even interested in listening to me and told me I must pay over R1,700 to repair it. I called Huawei on their number and the call centre agent couldn't even understand me. I have been trying to escalate the matter with no joy.
