Disgusting Service from Huawei

18 months after purchasing my Huawei phone it kept dying. For example, the battery would show 60% power left, it would switch off and when I restarted it, it would tell me that it had 60% power remaining. I had to leave my phone on charger constantly. My partners company has a contract with Huawei, the same thing is happening to him and a lot of the people working for this company. So I am not an isolated case.

I called Hauwei and they told me my phone was not in warranty, after a run around I asked for a manager who told me that in actual fact my phone was in warranty. I arranged to have my phone picked up.

The Customer Service Manager told me it would take 4 days to pick my phone up, fix it and drop it off again. They picked my phone up on the Monday and on Thursday I had still not heard from them. After numerous phone calls the manager told me that my phone had been fixed, they just needed my pin number to do a quality check. He told my boss the exact same thing.

On Friday I asked them if I could pick my phone up at Canal Walk myself, because if it went via the courier company I would not have a phone the weekend. The Customer Service Manager called asking me if I had had my phone opened before. I told him I had not.

He insisted that I had had it opened and that was what caused the fault, which is complete *******. He said he could send me photos and they would not fix my phone. I told him that I had never opened my phone, this makes no logical sense at all. Why would I take my phone somewhere else, when the first place I called was Huawei. Huawei must have sold me a dud phone .

As I mentioned before the fault on my phone is not isolated. So they are using this as an excuse not to fix my phone. They have not only lost me as an Huawei customer, but I tell my story to everyone I can. What they did is not right - and Sumsung is definitely the way to go. I am using my partners old Sumsung phone until my contract expires - it is 5 years old, works perfectly and the quality is far more superior than Huawei.

The manager who told me that my phone had been fixed will not call me back, even after I have left numerous messages. When I ask for the surnames of the people I speak to they refuse to give it to me. The service is shocking, the phone is terrible, they have basically called me a ****. I will never buy another Huawei again and will tell my story to everyone I know.
