********* BUSINESS - HUAWEI South Africa

I ordered a HUAWEI MATEBOOK D16 this morning (14 December 2023) on the HUAWEI Online store . The Laptop was being sold for R16 999.00 and there was a special of paying a R500.00 Deposit and getting a R3 000.00 Discount. Meaning that the Discount Price is R13 999.00. This offer was advertised as being accompanied by the following Free Gifts : 1. A HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse, 2. HUAWEI Earphones & a 3. HUAWEI Backpack. I placed my order and paid the R500.00 Deposit. I then get a phone call at 14:23 from Mohamed who stated that he's calling from HUAWEI's Customer Care Dept. and he informed me that there's a price change and I must CANCEL my order and re-order the same laptop for a price of R 14 999.00. HUAWEI needs to do something about this FALSE ADVERTISING . I am disappointed at the ********* manner in which they conduct business.
