BREAKING AGREEMENTS, FALSE HOPE AND FALSE ACCUSATIONS!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

So i have this phone contract at MTN for less than a year now, i have a Huawei Nova. The phone all of a sudden just shuts down and nothing i do can make the phone go back on. I send my phone into the shop, they said they will fix it no problem. I've phoned MTN to check up on their progress about 6 times, all they tell me is the phone is at Huawei in JHB and I live in Cape Town. I decide to contact Huawei directly a few times, and the person tells me that the phone cannot be fixed and they will send me a brand new phone soon. Eventually after more than 2 months, they call me and say sorry you have to pay R5000 or more for the phone to be fixed. so I've been paying for a phone that i did not have and now i have to pay for it to be fixed after i was promised I'd get a new phone? No man! Unacceptable!
