Bad Huawei waterproof watches
Huawei GT2e watch. Advertised as waterproof to 5 ATM which is 50m. I swim with the watch on never more than 2m deep. The watch has failed the 3rd time due to water damage. The first replacement were under warranty but now that it is outside of its warranty Huawei wants to charge R4380 to repair. If I was so inclined I could replace with a new Huawei GT5 for R4999. Be warned. It seems we are expected to change out or replace our electronic wears every couple of months. It's not made to last. Clearly there are design flaws that are just fixed in warranty but afterwards it's the customer's problem. There are better brands out there. I've already moved fro Huawei cellphones to Samsung. The next step is getting a replacement watch that is nit Huawei.
