Magix Video Editors are the worst

Bought the Magix Pro Plus Editor last year.. what a waste of money. The program was unbelievable slow rendering movies. I made the HUGE mistake to not ask my money back right away. So they send me a Newsletter, that they improved their engine and made it 8.6 times faster as before.. so when your rendering took 2 hours for a 30 minutes movie, it should be down to 15 mins now.. at least after the 1+1=2 calculation. Very VERY VEEEEEEERRRRRYYYYYYYY far from that. Is same slow as before, I couldn't notice a single second faster as what they lie to you in your news letter. Additional the program adds black parts and simply SKIPS rendering the real movie. What was the crown of insults: A day after my Update to the newest version, I get another newsletter, with the 11X version now on sale... what did I upgrade my Pro Plus version for??? Sorry, Magix is not something I can recommend. Software is hyper complicated and in VR movies, the position you place your ***t inside the Magix Editor.. is far from where it is at the end.. try on error.. waste of time, stay away from that overprices trash!

Asked for a refund.. got a refund.. the program is not just slow, is very much unstable and crashes with no error message after a 3 hour job (rather regular). Tried all day long to get a result.. cursing myself right now, that I tried this program again. Magix Pro Plus... biggest waste of money I ever had in my 40 years of Internet experience. Nice functionality, slow is a nice word for Magix.. is slower than that and as stable as nitro glycerin on a crashing plane.
Stay away.. any free cutting software beats this overpriced junk... 3 hours render time for a 40 minutes 1920x1080 resolution cut. Don't want to know how much time a 4k render would take.. 8.6 times faster hehehe in your dreams.. most likely they lie to sell their product. Shame on you, Magix.com!

Can't get a single render to finish.. one last try and I give up, a full day wasted because of the video editor software not able to finish a project. Freezes without and error, just stops working after 3hours and nearly at the end of the file.. the freezes are random, last three jobs I put up, all crashed after 2.5 to 3 hours.

Uhh, I forgot to add.. the update costed money, 60$ US.. I got that refunded, not the editor. New editor is same ultra slow as before.. waste of money and I uninstall the software, still hoping I get a render done, so I can finish the cut in a different program, already had over 20 hours work done, would hate to redo all. But.. that is the price to pay for using something you didn't enjoy working with from the beginning.. still calling myself names for believing the newsletter

So, not that this is a simple rant.. lets add some facts. My system is a MSI Gaming7 Z97, 4790K CPU (liquid cooled, heat exchange outside the box), MSI GTX 980 (heat exchange inside the box), 16 GB of gaming mem, Samsung SSD and WD Black Series drives. Running on Win10, and dynamic overclocking.
I cut a 41 minutes movie in Magix Pro Plus (Updated with the new engine 8 times faster as before.. as they say) Resolution 1920x1080 (FullHD), MP4 format, I couldn't set any Bitrate, program set it to minimal 6000 and max 8000. I did around 100 cuts and text inserts. Render time: 3 hours and 22 minutes.
I took the same material and inserted about 180 pictures in iSkysoft video editor, same duration of the movie, same resolution (FullHD), MP4 format BUT with 12000 Bitrate.. yes, I can select that in the o so cheap iSky, like in all the other editors. Magix wants to sell you for 5$ the full function of the MP4 format.. you get those for free in the other editors... but the rendering of the 12k Bitrate FullHD file took on iSky 27 mitunes... 3hrs 22 of the several 100$ Magix software, to 27 minutes with the 20$ cheap software... I use Magix for grabbing single frame JPGs... easy and nice to do, but I wouldn't buy this overprices hassle, if you just need to grab single frames hehehehe

I had huge problems to clip cut clips together without a gap in Magix Pro Plus.. but that can be solved by working more with the program.. the slow render times.. **** the desire to work with the program for sure.
