Goodday I’ve purchased a pair of Salomon XA Pro 3D V9 Black size 7 to the value of R2 699 on the 24 th of July 2025 at Cape Union Mart, Greenacres shopping Mall in Port Elizabeth. First time of wearing the Salomons it was hurting my right foot very badly. I thought if I wear it a couple of times it would stretch, but I coudnt wear the shoes for long period , because it was hurting my foot. I went to Cape Union Mart the 29 th of October 2025 I went to the store to inform them of my experience with the shoes and the cashier told the manager of the store. He (the manager) said I must bring it in and the Salomon rep ,Ms Samantha Geswindt will assist. On the 7th of November 2025 I returned the shoes to Ms. Geswindt she said she will contact me after speaking with headoffice. Ms . Geswindt also told me and my daughter the day of 7th November 2025 she had a prevoius customer with the same experience of the same type of Salomon. Yesterday , 18th of November Ms . Geswindt contacted me to inform me to come and collect the shoes. I went there today she informed me that their Product training Manager Mr Mazibuko send an email stating that they are sorry for the customers experience but unfortunately discomfort are not covered under their warranty policy . Its not about discomfort the shoes hurting my right foot only. I know the difference between discomfort and hurt. I told Ms Geswindt Ive purchased a prevoius pair of Salomon (last year)which are very comfortable. I also told her I dont want my money back ,I would like to have another more comfortable Salomon. Thank you Christal Stephens
