Sent wrong item, refuse to make right on their own mistake.

I'm a long time fan of Feiyue shoes for gym for their flexibility and comfort. I used to order them through other, local, websites but have not seen them in stock for a while.

I decided to take a chance when I saw this online shop pop up and ordered two pairs of shoes. Several days after my order and payment were confirmed I hadn't heard anything about shipping so I sent an email to their customer support to inquire about it and was sent a tracking number in response.

The order took a month to get here, no real issue there. When I picked it up I received a small box that could not fit a single shoe, let alone two pairs. The package contained a pair of cheap sunglasses which the shipping label said was valued at $5.

I immediately emailed about this, wanting a full refund but holding out a bit of hope that they could rectify the situation by sending my proper order.

In response I was told: "Dear customer,

Thank you for your email.

We planed to re ship your ordered item from our warehouse, but there is no stock after checked,so we can not re ship your order now, sorry.

You could return the wrong item if you don't want to keep, we will make full refund after receive it.

But the returning is troublesome and it may be lost during the shipment. If we do not receive it, we cannot refund.So we don't advise to return.

We discussed another way for you especially to end this problem soon.You can keep the wrong item,we would apply max 35.8% refund for you.It is fast and easy.How about that?"

I complained about the refund offer as my order cost $38 dollars and the glasses cost $5 as far as I could tell. I suggested, in good faith, that they send me a refund of the $38 I paid minus the $5 dollars of the product I didn't want or pay for. In a response they claimed that they undervalue items to pass customs faster and that the glasses were not actually valued at $5. They then offered a 43.5% refund.

I followed up to ask what the value of the glasses were to which they claimed they don't know.

I'm pretty sure that I am not getting my shoes or my money back as they have gone silent since then.

DO NOT make the same mistake as me. Do not purchase from this business.
