Water Pump Group failure to honour warranty

A booster pump (which is a pump on standby, to boost pressure when required, and is therefore always filled with water) bought from this company failed after 8 months in service.

They then refused to honour the water, based on the fact that the pump (quoting from their report) 'is used under ‘non-running’ conditions, or likely this pump is not being used for extensive periods of time, with water still static on the pump body.' This is exactly why one uses a booster pump - it is only used when the pressure is low, and must always be filled with water.

It also took them two weeks to send the pump to their supplier. After receiving the pump test report more than two weeks ago, the pump has still not been received back from their supplier and returned to me.
