Beware of Appliancehouse.co.za

<p>This company does not deliver and the excuses are endless and often contradictory. I ordered a fridge which they said they had in stock on their web-site. Once the order was done they suddenly had to order it from a supplier and apparently had communication problems. I later found out the colour of the model I ordered from them is currently not available in SA. I asked for an update on the shipping and the the excuses started via email attempting to keep on pushing back the delivery date. I tried to call and both the numbers they listed on their web-site and facebook - the numbers did not exist. I noticed my experience is shared by a number of other Hello Peter reviewers. My advice is to cancel your order immediately via email and to keep records of correspondence. My bank informed me that once you have cancelled your order they are required by SA law to refund your credit card account within 15 days. If they do not do the refund in this period of time you can report the transaction as ***** and the bank will pursue this for you.</p>
