Threatening SMS To garnish my Salary

HTN Attorneys have been sending me threatening SMS that they will send a sheriff to my place of work to serve the garnish order to the HR department. This is for the prescribed debt. The never served me any summons to appear at court. Or send me a copy the court order they received to garnish my salary. Their practice is in contradiction with The National Debt Collection Act 114 of 1998.<br> <br> I am currently in the process of reporting them to the Council for Debt Collector<br> <br> The Prescription Act 68, implemented in South Africa in 1968, enforces the regulation of prescription and states that debt can be considered as prescribed if the following requirements occur:<br> <br> 1. If in anyway, verbally or in writing, have failed to acknowledge the existence of the debt<br> 2. If you have not made a debt repayment for that particular debt in the last three years<br> 3. If you have not been summonsed in respect of the debt within a period of three years
