MISLEADING

My account with bruma finance was handed over to HTN Attorneys for collection. i was communicating with a guy called Surprise Ndlovhu. Surprise was useful and arranged settlement of my two accounts. i settled the first one in full in August and was given my paid up letter soon afterwards. then i asked for settlement of the second account which suprise duly sent to me for R2,552.00 in November expiring on the 30th of that month. i did not manage to pay it in time but on the 12th of december i called Surprise to inquire if i can still settle the account and was advised that , when he tries to generate a settlement offer it gives him atleast R20.00 more than the settlement amount that expired on the 30th november. He also advised me that i should pay the settlement amount that expired in November and that a paid up letter will be sent to me on receipt of the funds. I did an eft immediately and sent proof of payment to him. Now Lebogang tells me i still owe the nearly R500.00???? and also recieve sms from this company to pay R850.00 towards my Bruma Finance account to avoid legal action.i find this very misleading and unfair to me. they are welcome to check their phone records.
