HTN behaving ********ly

Years ago I supposedly took out a Boodle loan. What actually happened was that my ID number got mixed with someone else's application. For months I fought this with Boodle, sent them affidavits, sent them certified copies of my bank statements proving that I had not received the money. It went to their ***** department and it was agreed that it seemed like a systems error. Boodle stopped phoning me about 5 years ago.

Today I got a phone call from HTN attorneys looking for this amount. When asked, the man on the other side of the line could not explain to me why HTN attorneys was contacting me. As... even if I truly did owe the money (which I reassure you I did not) and I had not gone through everything I did 6/7 years ago, the debt would have prescribed about 3-4 years ago!

I understand that HTN need to make money from their book, but I think its very unfortunate that they would count on people not understanding their rights in law in order to get any moneys at all.

I trust that they will remove me from their system and that no credit listing would be found pertaining to this otherwise I will take this further.
