Cheap, unprofessional and ******** attorneys!!!!

My account was handed over by WONGA to HTN Attorneys due to settlement non-payment on the account.

Payment arrangements were met with the attorneys and the account was paid in full and settled in February 2018. A paid up letter was received and the matter finalized.

To ensure that my profile had been updated with the credit bureau, I lodged a dispute with all credit bureaus and followed up with both Wonga and their so-called attorneys to ensure that the account would be closed and my credit profile updated subsequently.

Confirmation was received that the matter has been resolved, the account closed and my credit profile updated.

A few days ago, I received a call from the useless attorneys informing me that I have an outstanding balance of R400 regarding the very same account. What is more disgusting is that the previous reference number has now been changed and a new reference number allocated on the account.

After receiving sms's and an email from these ********, I decided to call them to find out what's going on. The lady I spoke to Mpho, informed me that I still have a R200 outstanding payment on the account????

When I told her she is telling me *******, she hung up!

I have sent an email to Wonga, HTN Attorneys and the credit ombudsman as means of escalation.

I hope they will assist me with these ****** cheap ********!!!!
