HPCSA (Health Professional Council of South Africa) Irresponsible and Unresponsive

In June 2016, I lodged a complaint with the HPCSA (Health Professional Council of South Africa) which is supposed to be an organisation responsible for keeping the doctors in South Africa in tow. After lodging the complaint I received an Email from Madeline Kwele acknowledging the receipt of the complaint. I then received an Email from Maluxole Mdingi who requested a bunch of hospital file numbers, which I promptly supp**** I was then sent a case number relating to the complaint. AND THAT WAS IT!!!. Despite sending over 50 Email requesting feedback. The HPCSA and its representitives just dont bother to respond. There is no sense of ownership to the problems that have been reported and if they dont feel like reviewing a case they just DONT!!! Its as simple as that. Who controls the controller? If this is the governing body looking out for the South African People from doctors and malpractice then South Africans are all in a very Dangerous Place. If Doctors have autonomous rights and there is no institution to govern them then South Africans are living with a very grim outlook indeed!!!!
