HPCSA does not protect Medical technologist profession.

They claim to protect the public but allow under qualified people to give out life changing results.

They claim they do not control scope of practice just scope of profesion.

Where I work they employ matric people teach them how to read and interpret grams then allow them to send out results.

I complained to hr and my immediate boss nothing happened wrote emails to hpcsa got no response.

The only thing hpcsa is good at is increasing our annual fees.

As medical technologist we are not protected by hpcsa.
