Disappointed at unrealistic requirements to register as a Clinical Medical Scientist!

This is by far a big **** to take money from medical professionals and make the public feel like they are being protected.

I have been trying to register as a Medical Scientist and each time there is an excuse for things that are missing. How does one spend so much time studying - with sacrifices from family, only to be told that you still need another 2 years to qualify for the HPCSA number.

While others spend only one year studying a certificate and are given the number. Two-faced and unreliable! It seems the Medical Sciences field was just slotted in - we are forced to do Admin and Marketing or Sales work only with this qualification after 4 years of studying!

Student loans are waiting for us but we are not supported! Is there no other Health Council that can be made specializes in Medical Sciences!
