Unsatisfied with HP product

I am not at all satisfied with either HP or Game. At this stage I don't believe I would easily buy from them again.

In January I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer from Game. One I thought would be of a good quality. It wasn't cheap for a small business such as mine.

At first it started to jam the paper, even though I wasn't printing large amounts. I thought maybe I had the wrong setting. After a while I began to realise it's not something I did wrong, but rather something wrong with the printer.

Other than saying paper jam, it started throwing other errors, saying I incorrectly turned it off (even though I used the on/off button after waiting for all print jobs to be done). If I try to turn it off it will freeze on the shutting down screen for several hours.

It would say that the cartridges had jammed and the cartridges cannot move. Then I have to struggle to get it to work again.

Print jobs was horrible. It would print half and reject the rest, print double visions or have lines of poor quality through the documents.

If I replaced any of the ink cartridges the rest of the ink levels will drop up to 1/4 at a time. By the time I finished inserting a new cartridge another colour would be finished. When I insert the new finished colour the next colour would also be finished. All this while my newly insterted ink levels also fall drastically. What is the use of separate ink cartridges if this keeps happening? The sample ink lasted longer than the bought genuine HP cartridges which cost me a lot of money.

I have lost so much ink and paper. Close to R1000, if not more, for absolutely nothing. Unacceptable!!

I took it back to Game last Monday. Up to date I have heard nothing from either Game, nor HP, other than the booking sms.

I asked the guy who helped me if there were any printers for such cases they could provide the client and he said no I should use an internet cafe. I work late at night on my following day's work. Where am I going to get any places open at that time of the day?? Other than all the lost ink and paper costs I am at a loss of an income as I cannot do my work. I cannot deliver a service to my clients just because I supported these two places.

With this said, how can I be satisfied with the product and service??
