Stay away from HP

Where should I begin... Terrible quality products and horrible customer service.

I have an HP Pavilion 15 notebook which is about 2 years old now and (as with all faulty products) out of its 1-year warranty. From the get-go it had issues with software which I could get sorted out myself as the software is not included in the warranty cover, but not even 4 months into ownership I realised that the notebook is not nearly capable as it shou8ld be considering the hardware. I have constant overheating issues, 4 hour estimated battery life on video is actually 30 minutes, onboard B&O speakers no longer work despite having never used them from the first day, USB ports constantly lose connection and the list goes on and on. I had gone to the retailer where I purchased it from and their only reply was "HP is next door, go to them." and so I did only to find the WORST customer service of my life. I had explained everything to one of the clerks on duty and all I got in return was "Yes that is bad." and in very elongated terms explained to me that even though it is under warranty they can't do anything. Obviously, my next step was to contact HP customer support. I phoned and the number is out of service (big surprise) so I searched for an email address and couldn't find anything except a peer to peer platform where HP users can help each other solve their issues and a link to the HP website where the only option is the phone number which I already tried and DOESN'T WORK! All I could do from then on is sit with the useless notebook and use it as I can seeing as I threw 15k in the water and don't have another 15k lying around.

Moral of the story is if you want to throw your money away buy an HP. Once your product starts giving you issues (which it will not long after the purchase) your warranty means nothing to them and have absolutely no customer support.
