Short warranty, probably coz the longevity of the product is that short!!!

Purchased an Omen Mouse 32 days ago, from HP Clearwater. Having issues with it. Went to have it replaced. apparently the warranty expired 3 days ago!!! like I am sure your equipment works till the warranty is available. The store refused to exchange it, but had a lengthy process of sending it off to be fixed. What do I use in the mean time? Not their problem!!! NOt their problem, the very expensive item does not work 32 days later! Furthermore its been like this for a while, just did not have the opportunity to go instore. This is shocking, when we only purchase HP Laptops, Printers etc. Its almost as if you get interrogated, like you broke the item! Shocking!!!!
