Poor quality HP Laptop

To HP. I bought an HP laptop, model 15-rb001ni, for my fiancé on April 2019 from a CNA store where the sales person told us that it carries a two year warranty. Two weeks before Christmas 2020 one of the hinges on the laptop broke when we open the laptop because of the poor quality and engineering of the hinge on the laptop. I took it to the CNA store and the manager refuse to take it because they no longer deal with laptops. The manager also told me that they carry the same warranty as the manufacturer. That same day I went on HP's website to check the warranty and according to HP the warranty of the laptop has expired long before April 2019. I am also aware that according to the consumers act a store is not allowed to sell a product if the warranty from the supplier has expired on such a product and therefore it is also misleading.

I will not purchase an HP laptop again because of the poor quality and also will not recommend it to anyone else either. If I knew the quality was so poor, I would have never bought it. It greaves me dearly to be put in such a position to be forced to share this bad experience with HP and everyone else.

HP is more that welcome to contact me should they wish to assist me in this matter without me having to pay for any repairs.
