Hp laptop manafacturing warrently useless

I bought a HP laptop on account via Vodacom. 2 Days after my only 1 year manafacturing warranty the hinge of the screen just broke when opening the screen. This causes the screen to pull away from the body. I can not close the screen anymore. And all everyone, Vodacom and Hp is saying is sorry, that is how it works. Not the first HP I see with hinge problems. Never Will I go down this route again, staying away from HP and Vodacom forever
