unfair Business Practice

I had bought two tickets for the MTN Bushfire festival 2019 to be held in Swaziland in September 2018 through Howler.co.za. On the 25 April 2019 I contacted them to sell the tickets as I could no longer make the event due to family commitments. The feedback received was that I could sell my tickets through social media and once the tickets are sold, I would need to transfer them to the prospective buyer through the Howler platform

On the 19th of May 2019 I found a buyer for the tickets and luckily, he had a profile on the Howler system. I struggled o transfer the tickets. I contacted them through email to let them know of the challenge I was experiencing. Monday the 20th of May I called and spoke to a lady named Robin who assisted me with the navigation on the system and she advised that I should go to the order option rather than ticket option. I found the transfer option which I then proceeded to transfer the tickets. I confirmed to the buyer that I have transferred the tickets and upon login in into his profile he found one ticket instead of two and he alerted me and I called howler around 11:30am to inquire what happened and I was advised that one ticket was processed for a refund around 10:00am, I advised that I did not request for a refund and I wanted the tickets transferred and please could they rectify this and I was told that once a refund has been processed there is nothing that can be done. I highlighted to them that they should review my email which I had sent the previous day and the call I made earlier on in the morning requesting assistance with the transfer and whether they had proof that I requested the refund. I tried to highlight that surely, they can rectify since it hasn’t even been longer than 2 hours since they processed the refund and I was told that once a refund has been processed it’s the end of the process.

I proceed to ask to the manager ( Nicole) and I was told she will call me back as she was in a meeting and I keep calling until she eventually called me back and I explained what happened and she told me she remembers the request and there is nothing they can do for me. i emphasised that I did not request for a refund and highlighted that she should at least look at mitigating factors that I made contact within a few hours, I had sent and email and there was a call she could listen to but she said there was nothing she could do. I highlighted that the tickets were sold out a few weeks back and that until just a few hours earlier it still belonged to me and can she talk to the events manager as I will lose 75% of the tickets as that is the cancellation fee if you cancel a few days before the event. She promised to talk to the Key account manager but has not contacted me despite me making contact this morning. The buyer cannot but the one ticket and they required two tickets and that I would have to refund and lose out as the money. All I have asked is that they rectify this and transfer the second tickets but they have refused
