The worst event yet

Uber,Dstv delicious and howler

Let me start by saying the event was poorly managed and I just wasn't so happy about everything that happened on Saturday from arriving on the event to leaving the event and the aftermath that caused all this madness.Let me fast track to one leaving the event,Here I was thinking that fare was sorted as I app**** the voucher when I received the email,I did that on friday for Saturday night and the Sunday voucher did not want to apply so I then left it and decided let let me do it first thing in the morning nnne, little did i know that they would be finished but i was like I really want to enjoy myself and go see Burna Boy Saturday night.

Okay so we one is leaving the event,enroute home,the amount of people on Saturday it was crazy and the security was just not managing the amount of people well and load shedding which was also a nightmare so I switch to the FNB/Cell C network as my tell LTE wasn't working. Okay I try to request for uber and well it doesn't apply for the voucher, now I am so frustrated because the walk alone was about 30/40 minutes to get to the uber area/drop off. Okay cool. I was like I am already just so frustrated this thing is not working as I wasnt applying the voucher and I am on 6% on my mobile. So ai one walks further town to the Engen garage as the crowd was heading there, thinking on safety that the filling stage was rather safer.Okay I get there and I request using now my own funds as the voucher wasn't working and lets put in mind that its after 22:00 and all I really want to do is to get home,after the bad experience already had at this event,I am thinking nothing of theirs seems to work,LITERALLY!!!

Thank goodness I had some funds on my account, I placed this request on uber with the option of the card payment.After waiting at least about 35minutes finally, a driver accepted the ride and that was the 5****star for. it was literally for Shadracl accepting this request. Okay so I let him know that I am not at the dstv drop I am at the filling station. The driver reads and responds to my messages. I am drained at that hour,I literally am so tired anyway driver arrives at around 23:10 then we leave, Initially he said I should come to him after I told him I was literally drained and tired and just sitting by the pavement looking lost,After all that ,I walked to the car as he refused to come to me on the call. I go to the car nne...I breathe deeply and thank him for accepting the request as I was waiting for him for about 20 minutes to arrive and we leave. We then go however we take a rather longer route getting to my destination but he says he knows best,fine. I let him be and I am really not in any kind of mood but I am being friend/nice toward him. I let him know that I just would love to get home,take a bath and sleep and forget about the day. He then gets lost close to home and then I assist him while doing that because he really wasn't great I leave and take the stuff I had with me,I get home and we had load shedding and my mobile was already about to die,I just leave everything in the garage. I go inside and I just go to bed as it was dark and I just sleep.

Next morning I get up and wanting to charge my mobile, i see that I don't have the main bag with all the personal stuff in the bag,in a panic I login and send a message to uber and I and uber assists me in calling the driver.I don't reach him but I give uber my number so that he can contact me, I out my mobile in 1 of the charges we have, surely after he received my missed call,the driver calls me back. I then advice that my bag with everything like the license and everything(my life is all there) was left in the car as he claimed I was the last person he dropped off.The drop off was close to midnight. He then says he has the bag and he sees that it literally has all my life in it and he would assist in me getting it back,this is at about 10am in the morning if, But it was definitely the morning on Sunday.I do advice him that I will be in the North and if he would like for me to meet him I can come closer but he insists he will have t back to me.The driver then calls me at around midday advising his in Midrand and I am in Kyalami at the time.I am like thinking his just here, I advise him that I have issues with the network but I can make it work as I have a friend where he was as he advised Kylami would not work for him,I then gave him my friend's number and I also gave my friend his number so that she can better assist as she was at home and I literally had issues with the network due to load shading. My friend Refilwe says there is no problem. He can drop off the bag as he was literally just closer to her for about 2 minutes if not less. My friend calls me back and advises that this guy he wants a lot of money and I let her know that my payday is literally on Friday but she can give him a R50 to thank him as he was already by her and it made sense for him to drop it off by her, I was about 10minutes from me and refused to come to me and said a trip to me would cost more than R100 which I advised if you saying you've left my friends place as he claimed a ride came through after he agreed he would make sure that he drops off the bag first a ride camt and he took it. He then went on to say that Waterfall to Kylami would cost more than R100, I pleaded with him as another person,that I documents there like identification,and keys and mobile charger,things I really needed and ***** in S.A is a real problem and now I scared and thinking it really is not about other things and I will try borrow the cash but I don't have it,this carried on till 9pm on Sunday. Then he started to become mean and say some really unpleasant and terrible things to me.I was really hurt by the incident and really indistress. I just asked him to drop it off at the uber offices and I will come and get it directly from there. I am in tears as I am writing this. I really did not deserve all that happened to me. I am really pained by this event and wish for people who have no empathy and sympathy to not work with people. I really am pained by uber and dstv because of this incident. I know there's a lot of typos in this , but I am not okay.
