No integration with Computicket
We bought tickets for the recent Cure concert in Cape Town. Tickets for the event were literally only available via Computicket. Howler was supposedly the only way that you could pay for anything at the event. Because South Africa loves their monopolies it seems.
Anyway, we log onto Howler.co.za and try to add our tickets and we try every available serial number and barcode and nothing works. Call support, only to be informed that Computicket ticket numbers won't work on the Howler website. So how the actual f**k anyone was supposed to find their tickets and load them on the website was anyone's guess. So, like zero integration with Computicket? Great planning guys. Really forward thinking.
Howler support had to email us a link to be able to somehow add the Computicket ticket to the website.
If it's this much effort, you have to way up the effort of this and the frustration vs just using cash or Zapper or Snapscan.

We are as frustrated that we cannot integrate with Computicket. Computicket refuse to open their API’s to us (they see us as competition). In most cases Howler does the ticketing and the cashless and on these cases its a much smoother process We understands that there could have been better communication or visibility about the voucher page and will improve this in the future. More so we are editing the pairing page to notify customers which ticket companies we support. Computicket did send out a SMS to all customers with the link to buy vouchers. Oddly enough, even with it being difficult we saw one of the highest online top ups , more than 40% of customers. We are also working on our mobile App. Watch this space. If you were relying purely on a mobile app such as zapper or Snapscan you would have come into problems with the network went down.
