Do not rent from Houss rental!

Do not rent from Houss Rentals, they go against the consumers act and the rental housing act. They make tenants pay for their poor choice in paint used and poor workmanship. When we moved in we paid a cleaning fee, but had to request the cleaners come back a second time as the place was absolutely filthy. When they pitched up they did not have the correct equipment to clean the apartment, they do not even have a vacuum cleaner.

Upon moving out, the contract states that if you leave the place in the same condition as received the cleaning fee will be waved, considering the state the place was in when we moved in they received it back even cleaner. They're still charging us. Then there is a bs plumbing fee to clean drains, but they redid our shower just 2 weeks before we moved out, due to the water leaking through to our downstairs neighbors ceiling. The rest of the drains we kept clean. In addition they are charging us a fumigation fee, when they had someone come treat the place not even a couple of months ago. We've never had issues with pests as we kept the place and drains clean.

Then on our outgoing inspection they marked the walls where the bed was for example and now want us to pay tot fair wear and tear, that goes directly against the consumers act.

So in short do not even consider any of their estates. We lived in Bahari Lifestyle Apartments. What a disgrace. Daylight ******* at it's best.
