Best value for "do it yourself" landlords

Pleasantly surprised! After reading previous hellopeter reviews I was skeptical of using them, but I tried them out and I think other people have misinterpreted what they offer. They market your property on various marketplaces and when people see your ads then they can book into viewings when you are available to host the viewings (their core service does not make use of agents). If someone wants to rent your place then they apply with HouseME and they do a proper financial vetting of the applicants and you're fully informed of the applicant's risk status. HouseME then draws up a great lease for you and takes care of the deposit admin and rental collection. All of this for 2.5% of the lease value - that's less than any traditional agent (but you don't get an agent doing the viewings for you). Really great value if you're looking to take care of things without an agent, but want the admin and risk taken out the equation. Think they have an option for their people to do your viewings at an extra cost (still less than other agents). Their rental guarantee product is still the best! If your tenant pays late or stops paying then they still pay you on time regardless. I'm done with agents, this is by far the best value for money.
