WORST CUSTOMER CARE EVER - PATHETIC!

I hope anybody looking for somewhere to buy furniture do NOT use House & Home in Highveld Mall (Witbank/Emalahleni)

I paid R13 000 plus delivery for my couch to be delivered. The same day they delivered it, I took photos of everything wrong with the couch, which was pretty much, everything. The one separate chair wiggled, wasn’t flat on the ground, there was a big wooden chip in the ottoman’s corner. The three couches that are supposed to be formed together does not align properly. It looks ridiculous. All was sent on email on the same day of delivery.

But that’s not all. The service I was given was pathetic. I spoke to a guy named Wandile, and told him that I need this resolved or I will have to write a review on Hallo Peter to warn potential customers against this House&Home. He rep**** arrogantly “Please do so, please write the review”, when I asked how I should spell his name he said “Why?”, and I rep**** “Because I want to know exactly who I am talking to. Then all of a sudden, his name changed to Thulani. The line was cut off and I called back. Receptionist answered again and I asked to speak to this “Thulani”, she said there is no Thulani working there. ****!

I was sent an email on black & white stating that they will replace my couch. 3 weeks later, STILL NO COUCH!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HOUSE & HOME IN HIGHVELD MALL!!! They are ***** and honestly don’t care about their customers.

I ordered from them because my brother living in Mookgopong bought one, when it was delivered at their house my brother was asked by the delivery guy to walk around the couches to see if everything is in order and if he is happy with his purchase. That was not the case with me. They just dropped it off, no walking around or checking if everything is alright.

Again, I warn you because I don’t want other people struggling with them the way I am now.
