Undisclosed Information Relating to the store Return Policy

I need some assistance.

I have bought SUNBEAM SDS250 SOLID HOTPLATE at House and home Greenacres Port Elizabeth on 21/03/2020.

The other plate stopped working around July 2020, however I couldn't return it at that time due to Covid i was at home in Matatiele not in Port ELizabeth.

I went to House and home on my return from home on the 09 January to return this stove as i was told that the warranty is one year. The guy who was helping me said, he is going to send the stove for an assessment on Monday the 11 January and I should receive the feedback on Monday the 11 January later or Tuesday. I left the stove as I was told that it needs to be taken for assessment and I will be contacted regarding the way forward and the feedback from the accessor.

And the Area Manager forwarded me this response, "Here is the suppliers response:

Please note that Nu World products have a 1 year guarantee, but the guarantee falls away when there is customer abuse. This is company policy.

I regret not being able to help.
