Rude staff member to customer at the Food Deli

Yesterday 28 April Tuesday afternoon 2026, we went to the salad deli at Checkers in Parrow. When I got to the salad side I and looked for assistance and I saw a lady(coloured) standing on the far end on her phone, I signaled for her attention. She did not respond, I waited and signaled for her again and her response was "What do you want" with an angry tone and facial expression. When I told I would like to get some salad she responded angrily. My response was "sorry but we are not aware that here you serve yourself but why must you be rude about it because we are not from here." and her reply was "how was i supposed to know?" I too rep**** " how are we also supposed know here in Parrow you serve yourself but you do not know also we are not from here Cape town" she walked away ****ed off. The lady was very rude and undermining and that was unprofessional. Total bad imagine of the Checkers brand if their workers are allowed to treat customers in that way. I reported that matter and informed her I will be reporting the matter on Hello peter as I want Head office to investigate the matter.
