Research Unknown Brands Before Buying

After complaining numerous times (since last year October) to House & Home about a muller & haupt fridge I bought from them, they sent a technician to my place for the second time two weeks ago. I have not heard a word from them since, but I'm not surprised though. This brand of appliance don't have an office in S.A. and don't have a website, so I can't even contact them directly. Only House & Home seem to sell this brand, and they use independent technicians who have been totally unprofessional thus far. Do your homework before buying an unknown brand (wish I had), no matter how highly recommended by a salesman, so that you're sure the guarantee has some kind of standing and that someone will take responsibility if there is a problem.
