Poor application process

I app**** for 6 month credit on the 25 September 2020 on a couch I saw in one of their store in Vereening. I gave a sales person who was helping me with the application every document needed and they told me it will take on 48hrs for the application to be approved. But 48hrs passed without anyone calling to let me know if my application has been approved. On the 30th September 2020 I recieved a call from a sales person who was helping me with the application saying Head office can't get hold of anyone from work on the numbers I gave them and also I must come to the shop premises to sign for debit order payment option. I did go and sign the papers and also gave them 2 more alternative numbers of my HR consultants at work. On the 02 October 2020 I received a call from head office Carolina asking about any alternative number as the one I gave them is not working I told her o the 30th September 2020 I provided those alternative number. Today is the 06th October 2020 still I haven't recieved any news of what exactly is the delay in processing my application cause I provided them with everything needed to make a process. I believe application department is failing me, they called me only once and it's been 12 days as of today but they told me the application process takes only 48 hours. Please help.
