I am disappointed on how my complaints for the Goods I bought is being handled.

About few months ago I bought a Stand and a Coffee Table from House and Home in Sandown and Wood Street Parklands and both my items where delivered on the 27 May 2017 with Good Condition. However yesterday afternoon when I come back from work I got a shock of my life that the glass on my Coffee Table was broken just like that. At home I stay alone, no kids or anyone else. Nothing ever fell on my Table that would crack it or something. I got in and I tried to look for things that might broke the glass, nothing I could find. Got closer and I could see that everything was fine from the celling everywhere so nothing could have made this table like this. I took pictures of the Table and the mess and the roof as well. I then cleaned the mess on the floor and left the Table as it is because I felt like if maybe you wanted to come and see it you find it that was.

the only thing that I could come up with. The must be a reaction on the glass or some kind of factory fault or something. There is no dent nothing only the glass that is affected, broken and could have hurt me if I was home watching TV, as the pieces of the glass where all over the place including the couches.

I am a very loyal customer at House and Home and this come as a disappointment after buying my goods for less than 6 months, and without me damaging it then I will need to buy or come up with a plan to sort my Table which I really love.

The above email was sent to the email with pictures. However, I feel that I am not going to get any where with this and I will end up buying another Table for something that I cannot even explain myself. I was told that it looked like there was some kind of forced, which is not true. I also suggested that they come to my place and check the Table for any evidence that will cause this. On top of that I need to go to the store and provide pictures so that they can check what time the picture were taken which i do not have a problem with but seemingly i will be paying for the glass which i think it had some chemical reaction on it as it turned black, off which it was clear before this happened. it hurts me knowing that I will be buying or paying for a glass that i dont even know what happened to it. As much as i understand that House and Home gets their goods from their supplier, but what about my needs as a customer especially knowing that nothing was done to caused the Glass table to be broken like that. What about my safety, what if I had a child and my child was hurt by whatever caused the Table to explode.
