I purchased a couch last from house and home in Roodepoort 14th Avenue branch. Initially the 1st couch I purchased lasted only about 2 months before it started to sag, i called and complained due to lockdown they only came out in June. The couch was taking back and I chose another couch and paid a difference, the 2nd couch also started to sag i called again and couch was collected. In this time I was given notice to vacate my current property due to it been sold, I explained to the store my predicament that I did not have a place to stay as yet as my house was been built. After the couch repairs where done they called for Delivery and i explained again my predicament , Pinky understood and afforded me 2 extra weeks. I got called after and was told that the manager said if do not take my couch back they would keep it as storage fees this was far from 90 days. So i took delivery of a couch an got it delivered to a unfinished house, you can confirm with your drivers the state of the house. I finally got into the house this week and i opened the couch guess what a recliner that used to work is no longer working. The other couchs have not been filled as stated who does QC for house and home?. The couch was not cheap either. I am sick and tired of dealing with you guys and this is truly frustrating. I will never do business with house and home again.
