House and Home Mayville mall PTA stay away damaged products for full price

On 2/3 Dec 2024 I went to buy a bedroom set cash. (At House and Home Mayville mall) There was one I liked alot. So all the sales people is walking passed by me if am a gost. Someone come finally and said okay they will assist me after long wait just to hear the bedroom set that i want the only one is the one on the show room, so I said it's fine, but than i want discount because it's a demo. The manager said after a while they will give me only R500 off. Disappointed that a demo is only getting so littel off, but I really wanted a bedroom set, I paid R9500 for the headboard and the two padstels tabels and R450 for delivery! Am excited can't wait for my set but on the 4Dec 2024 house and home manger said to me there is a small damaged on the set but you can't even see it, I received photo's of set where the headboard is badly damaged and the coner of the one padstel tabel is very badly damaged. The manager told me just remember you take it as it is or we give your money back ?? (Just imagine I payed for it before it was damaged like that) than you want to let me take it or leave it ....... After the photos I said I want my money back. They said I must come in to get my money, just to arrive there to hear they don't have money to give me.....as soon as they get sales they will started paying me back. 9Dec2024 they called me to say they have R3000 for me....ok why must I get R3000 back where I payed the full price cash. They took there time. Than I let them know am disappointed of service and am driving my petrol out. So finally 12Dec 2024 i got my money back. Who will buy that damaged demo now for R10 000 ?? It's crazy how house and home is fooling there clients. I wish I can upload the photos how bad the product look like and they wanted me to pay full price. Advice stay away from house and home!!! What a disappointment. Without a apology. But they are quick to take your money neh ?????
