House and home inferior products

We bought from House and home 2016 a 3 pieces upper leather recliner lounge suite (Grafton Everest) , however for the past weeks the upper part of couch (supposedly genuine Kudu leather part )started cracking only to discover that they're not upper leather as advertised by the supplier and confirmed by the store Rep. This really disappointing for a leather couch to be cracking in this manner and for the amount we paid for it. We would have never paid this amount had we known we were getting plastic. When we brought these couches we were under the impression that is was 100% genuine upper leather as advised and confirmed by sales consultant as we didn't want experience the same with our previous couches which was bonded leather, and the reason we went with the sale was with the guarantee of the product durability upper leather as this favored the sale. we informed House and Home 14th ave which they are now playing hide and seek with us for the past couples of week now, we have provided the proof of the of photos, tags that came with the products confirming leather combo, Pinky from the shop indicated that she is doing us a favor on taking this complaint as the couches are out of warranty not understanding the actual fact is the inferior material that was used and not leather as stated. We have exhausted means in trying to contact their management as we are constantly told his busy and never returns our call/messages. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from them as they mislead customers in false advertising to favor their turnover.
