House and Home Centurion Damaged my couch

I purchased a couch in February 2021 for R20000 from House and Home in Centurion Mall. In October 2021 we noticed that the couch was sinking and making noises every time we sat on it. In December I went back to the store and a person named Arthur assisted me. Arthur told me that he will book my couch in for repairs and this was done in January 2022. I stressed to Arthur that he need to make sure the delivery guys wrap up the couch so that it doesn't get damaged during transit and he assured me that he will do so. I waited about a month for the couch to be delivered and eventually when it was delivered it was majorly damaged in 3 different areas on the leather on the outside. The worse damaged was about 4cm long and 1cm wide which all the leather was completely removed. With regards to the actual repairs, the work was horrible, all they did was nail a think piece of wood from one end to the other. Whenever you sit on the couch you feel that you are sitting on a piece of wood. Till date the store refused to apologize for the exterior damages that was done by the House and Home delivery team and refuse to fix the damage even through the delivery team gave them pictures, it seems they don't want to take any responsibility. All they want to do is send it for the springs to be repaired again and inconvenience me for another 30 days. I have requested for a replacement couch and they refused to do that. My point to them is that since the couch was so badly damaged on the outside, it will never look the same even after the repairs. It was not my fault that the couch springs failed, it was not my fault that the couch was damaged by house and home delivery team so why should I sit with a damaged couch that you will always see the damages. The Region manager Phillip De Bruyn refuse to give me a replacement unit or refund and is only giving me the option for the couch springs to be repaired. After my horrific experience with House and home, I will never purchase from them before, you only get good and friendly service when they trying to sell you something.
