House and Home are ****mers and *****sters

I did a fridge layby with House and Home couple years back before the deposit expired I had a incident where our home was flooded and all the paper work was ruined/ damaged by rain. I went to cancel my layby but I was told they need the lay-by receipt though I tried to explain the situation. They told me I need to get a bank statement though I have explained to them that the account was closed. I had all the required documents to support my lay-by but no they wanted a bank statement.

Im very disappointed with the fact that they take advantage of people, In other words just because my house was flooded now I can get my R500 I paid for my lay-by. How is it now easy to put my details on their system and retrieve my details.

House and home is too much of a **** going around taking people's money who are trying to have something in life.
