Hisense TV purchased from House and Home Sunningdale/Parklands
Good day
23 June 2024, I purchased a brand new Hisense TV (58Inch) from House and Home Parklands.
• I was indeed assisted by very sweet sales lady. • When purchasing the product, it was tested in store by 1 gentleman (Receiver manager) and myself, happily the TV was working and had a sound. • I then signed the documents and proceeded, the TV was packed by the same receiver manger into the box and sealed. • TV was then transported to my vehicle in an open flat push trolley by 1 person.
I live about 1/2mins away from the store. I got home, my partner and I took the tv from the car and placed it safely inside and proceeded with the day.
Later on in the day, when we finally had the chance, we unboxed the TV. To our surprise it seems like it has an internal crack and no audio. Same day I reported this to the sales lady.
My concerns are the following:
1. The TV is in a box and protected with white foam board how could it be internally cracked? 2. What happened to the audio? 3. The box has no damage to it but the tv is damaged, how? 4. The box was opened from the top when removing the tv instore and it was placed back same way, the box however has black clippers to open and close (which was not used). 5. How can I be certain that when it was placed back to the box it was done accordingly
I have been going back and forth with the store and supplier of the product. They are not even willing to take the product for assessment. I am told possibly the damage could have happened from driving to the store and back home.
This makes me question so much in terms of packaging, product durability etc! The audio that has magically disappeared as well is very concerning.
