FALSE ADVERTISING - House & Home Tygervalley Mall

We had the most horrible experience at House & Home due to FALSE ADVERTISING! We are looking to buy a gas oven and finally saw one on sale at House & Home that we really liked. Due to the fact that we live two and a half hours away from Cape Town, I phoned the store in advance to ensure that they have the oven we are looking for in stock and that we will not be wasting our time and money travelling all the way. I spoke to an employee at House & Home in Tygervalley Mall and he ensured me that everyting is in order. When we got there, they remebered me from my call and took me to staight to the gas ovens. The oven he then showed me was completely different from the picture they had up on their website. He argued with me and told me that I was wrong and that the ovens are in fact exactly the same. I then pointed out all of the differences and he then said that the photo on their website was the older model and that the oven in store that they are showing me is the new model. I was extremely upset, because we had come all this way and wasted a lot of time and money thanks to false advertising. We will NEVER support House & Home again!
