false advertising, bad service, unprofessional and uninformed staff

on Sunday 20/09/2020 went to House & Home at President Square in Krugersdorp. We made a purchase of a washing machine with the sales person named Henry, he showed us the catalogue and it was R1999 which we paid in full the whole amount.

On Monday 21/09/2020 when we go to collect the washing machine, the store tells us that its R2199 and that we must add 200 to it for them to be able to give us the machines. So we explain to the store manager named Gert Willemse that we made a purchase and paid what we saw on the catalogue. Now why must we add 200 more. He refused to release the washing machine. Expected us to pay the 200 extra. What was the reason of showing us the catalogue that says R1999 , which was paid in full and then next thing when we collect now The amount is more. It is false advertising and bad service to customers. They were very unprofessional with how they handled the matter and insisting on us to pay the extra money.

It is bad service to customers and false advertising. Advertising this and when you make a purchase its that. Failing to even resolve matters that don't involve customers but handled very unprofessional by clueless and uninformed salesperson.
